About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Traveling US-India-Shanghai-US

I am traveling to India for work. I would like to go through Shanghai for a few days on the way back to the US. Does this qualify to use the 144 hour visa-free visit?

Yes, if your inbound and outbound flights do not stop elsewhere in China.
