About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

US to Shanghai to Hong Kong

Looking to fly from the US to Shanghai then to Hong Kong Back to the US, will this quality for the 144 Hour free transit? Am I correct in that Hong Kong does not require a visa for stays less than 90 days? Thanks for your help.

If so, you qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. US passport holders can indeed enter HK freely for a stay of not more than 90 days.
