About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Question about time of apply for visa

I am from Iraq living in Melbourne Australia
and need to apply for a Tourist entry permit to Hong Kong. I plan to got there in 45 days. Can I apply for it now, or I should apply it 2 weeks or closer to time of flight?

Hadis, you can apply for it now. Usually, you are advised to make the application 4 to 6 weeks prior to your trip.

Yes, but embassy website says it takes four days to get the visa, right?

If the embassy will process your application, it usually takes four working days, but if the embassy transfer that to HK immigration department, it will take 4 to 6 weeks and there is no express service.
