About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Tokyo - Wuhan - Tokyo trip

I will fly from Tokyo dirctly to Wuhan and will stay for 48 hours (2 nights) in Wuhan. Afterwards I will fly from Wuhan back to Tokyo again. Can I use for such trip the 72 hours VISA Free Transit possibility or do I need to apply for some tourist VISA officially ? Thank you !
