I am currently living 18 Shuangqing road, haidian district at  hotel home Inn. I would like to see the great wall by using the subway or public bus. which one is safe and easily accessible for a single traveler? by subway/ bus?

Badaling Great Wall is greatly recommended.From your hotel, it is suggested to take a taxi to Deshengmen Bus Station first. The cab fare is around CNY 30. Then take bus no.877. The drop-off site is close to the pulley car lower station and about 10 minutes' walk to the entrance. It is a non-stop bus, taking about an hour and costing CNY 12 per person. :)
