Hi is it possible to fly from London to Shanghai and get the 144hour free transit, fly to Shenzhen and after that via Luohu to Hong Kong (walking)? This will all be within the 144 hours.

No. Your transit time is limited to 24 hours if you have another stop in Mainland China. Plus, Shenzhen does not allow any type of transit without a visa.

That's not possible for two reasons. You can't have more than one stop in China (outside Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang) on a 144 hours free transit, and moreover visa-free transit is not possible in Shenzhen. So you either need to fly directly from Shanghai to Hong Kong, or get a visa.
