Can I use airport express to get to terminal 1?

Hi there,

We will be leaving via Hainan in terminal 1. I see the Airport Express subway goes to terminal 2 and 3. Is terminal 1 far from terminal 2? If not how would you suggest we get to terminal 1? It will be mid autumn holidays so guessing Beijing will be busy!
