Flying to Shanghai with transit in Hong Kong

Hello!

I am travelling from Toronto to Shanghai, via Hong Kong. We plan to stay in Shanghai for 2 days, followed by a visit Hangzhou for 2 days, then flying out of Xiaoshan Airport for Hong Kong. Does this qualify for the 144h free transit?

Thanks for your help!

Hong Kong-China-Hong Kong isn't a transit, so your itinerary clearly doesn't qualify for visa-free transit.
