Colombian citizen flying to Thailand through China

Hello!
I am a Colombian with residence in Germany and I would like to go to Thailand for holidays. Most of the flights I find stop in China (not longer tha 10hours), do I need to apply for a visa? I've read something that confused me about flights to Thailand stopping in China...

Hi, could you please provide which city you transit in mainland China so that I can tell you if you need a visa?

You don’t need a transit G type because you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing or Shanghai. Nice trip!
