About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying from the same airport

Hi

I fly from Cambodia to Shanghai and am staying with a friend there for upto 6 days but not going anywhere else. I am then flying to Vietnam.

My questions are:
Can I get the 144 hr free transit? And do I need to register where I am staying? Can I also fly out of the same Shanghai airport I flew into?

Thanks!

Hi, you can get the 144 hr free transit for that, and you can fly out from the same airport which you flew into. You need to go to the local police station to register after you enter within 24 hours.
