About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 Hour free transit Question

We have UK passports, currently living in HK. Can we fly from HK to Shanghai and then back to HK and get the 144 hour free transit?

Amy, no, you can’t. If you travel like that, it is not a transit at all. Your travel route should be country/region A-Shanghai-country/region B if you want to use the 144 hour free transit.
