Please advice the best way to travel the above route. (By high speed train or by bus or both) You may change the sequence of cities for the convenience of the travel. Thank you.P/S: I need to start and end the journey at Shanghai.

You may follow the sequence like Shanghai-Suzhou-Nanjing-Hangzhou-Shanghai or vice versa. In this way, you run a circle and will not repeat back and forth on same route. For each section, there are many high speed rides a day.
