Free-transit into China?

Hi, I am thinking of travelling from NZ to Taipei Taiwan then from Taipei to Shanghai for just under 3 days before flying back to New Zealand from SH on a New Zealand passport, will I need to apply for a Visa into SH or the 72 hours free transit applies?
Thanks

You don't need to hold a visa for the transter. Actually, you are qualified for the 144h visa-free transit at PVG.
