jfk-pek-bkk 1 hour layover

Question

I have a flight from jfk to Bangkok with a layover in Beijing. Only have 1 hour layover. All flights booked with air China on same reservation. Will this be enough time for our connection and will I need to collect my luggage or it will it transfer automatically?

Hey, one hour is enough for the transfer. By the way, your luggage will be transferred automatically to the last destination.

The airport ATC is horrendous and they don't care about Transfer times. One hour will no the enough and they won't care if you miss your connecting flight.
