About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying to Shanghai through Beijing?

If I have a flight (from Ulaanbaatar) to Shanghai, but it transits through the Beijing airport, can I still apply for the 144 hours free transit in the Shanghai airport if I don't leave the Beijing airport during the transit or is it only valid if I enter through Shanghai directly? Flying outside of Shanghai would be to a different destination.

Antonis, you are not eligible for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai because of your layover in Beijing.
