Entering on 144 rule to renew residence visa

I'm flying back from the states and land on the same day as my residence permit expires. 5 days later I have a flight to Spain. I was planning on entering on the 144 hour rule so as not to over-stay my residence permit and then using the 5 days to renew it. Will this cause any problems? Thx Andy

Hi, usually, you should extend the residence permit 30 days earlier before it expires, so I'm afraid you cannot do that because you don't have enough time.
