Transferring from terminal 2 to 1 at PEK

Is there a way to transfer from Terminal 2 to 1 in the entry of the departures before checking in to your flight?

It is not far apart. I suggest you walk between and it shall take no more than 10min.

On the online maps, it doesn't look like there is a sidewalk or pedestrian route between the two, do you know if there is one?
