I have conference in Liuzhou; how to get to Great Wall etc?

I'm traveling from USA to conference in Liuzhou. Understand that Guilin is close by, but most other must-sees are a distance. Please give suggestions for extra week or 10 days in China, and how best to travel to these places. Thank you.

Well, you can enjoy the attractions nearby, like cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, Li River, and Reed Flute Cave; then you can go to Beijing by air, by the way, there are 6 flights available from Guilin to Beijing. Then you can visit those musts for a China tour, like Great Wall, Summer Palace, and Palace Museum.
In addition, you can join a 10 day tour. As I know, travel china guide provides some options, and more details you can get from: traveltravelchinaguide.com
