About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We are flying with Eva Airways from the USA to Beijing.

From Beijing we fly to Bangkok with Eva Airways through Taipei- so USA-TPE-PEK/ PEK-TPE-BKK- / USA
Is this route allowed by the 72 hours stop over by China?

Eva Airways hub is in TPE :(

No, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit in China because TPE-PEK-TPE is not a transit at all.
