About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visa in Hong Kong int airport

Hi
We are Australian permanent resident but we have Australian travel document(not possport) to travel overseas from Australia .We have Schengen visa for DK on 11 July 2017 via Sydney to Hong Kong to Frankfurt to DK.
Can we use from 24 hour direct transit pollicy or 72 hour visa free transit policy? or need to apply for transit visa for Hong Kong?

Hong Kong maintains its own visa policy independent from the rest of China, so a different 24-hour transit policy applies. You are visa exempted but cannot leave the sterile transit area or clear the immigration in Hong Kong.
