About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does the 144 hr Visa Apply

We are on a cruise that will arrive in Shanghai from Okinawa Japan on 4/16/18 and depart on 4/17/18 for Hakata Japan and on to other ports. Do we qualify for the 144 Hr free transit

Joseph, you won't qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai because your travel route Japan-Shanghai-Japan is not a transit.
