and then take the train at 1:47 a.m. to DunhuangIs there any intersting activity in downtown of Jiayuguan at night e.g.the market ,walking street?and at Jiayuguan railway station , is it convenient to wait for the train for a long time (2-3 hours)

As I know, Datang Food Street will be a nice choice for you, whioch is located on the opposite of no.1365, East Yingbin Road. Jiayuguan Railway Station is an old one but with full-equipped facilities, and you may wait you train at the Waiting Hall.
