About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Australian passport holder arriving on a cruise to International Cruise Terminal in Shanghai.

Is a Chinese tourist visa (Australian Passport holder) still required if arriving on a cruise ship to Shanghai International Cruise Terminal? Previous port of call is in Sth Korea . On arrival in Shanghai Commencing a guided tour for less than two days then fly out of Pudong International Airport on a direct flight to Australia.

If so, you will be qualified for the 144 hour free transit facility in Shanghai. No need to apply for a visa then.
