About:China Work Visa

Hi, I would like to know if it's possible not to be in Canada and apply for the Z type?

I am currently on a Hong Kong dependent visa so living in Hong Kong right now. I also have the leisure 10 yrs multiple entry visa for China. Do I have to go back to Canada to apply for such a work Z type or I can apply for it in Hong Kong / China?

Tracy, it is possible for you to do that in HK. If it can be done there, you don’t need to go back to Canada anymore.

As for the case in Australia, one site I read said you need to be in your home country to apply for a Z visa for China, although this wording was unclear.
