Question

Would it be possible to fly into Lijiang on a Friday night, go to Tiger Leaping Gorge on Saturday, and then go to Shangrila on Sunday? Would it make more sense to fly out of the airport near Shangrila on Sunday evening, or go back to Lijiang to fly out of that airport?

Generally speaking, you can tour around Tiger Leaping Gorge for one day. However, one day's time is tight to visit Shangri-la. You'd better fly out from Lijiang in the Monday morning.
