Can a passenger on a 24hrs transfer leave the airport ?

I am travelling from Urumqi to Kota Kinabalu by Xiamen Airline & have a 24hr 20mins transfer at Fuzhou Int. Airport. Can I leave the airport to stay in an outside hotel and return to continue my journey later ?

Yes, you can leave the airport to stay in an outside hotel during your transit in Fuzhou as long as you have the Chinese visa.
