When I disembark the cruise ship, I would have to pass immigration.

How can I pass the immigration without the China visa? Is there a special line in immigration office for tourist visiting only 144 hours?

You need inform your cruise company about the free visa application before you arrive. Then take your valid passport and departure flight tickets when you pass the immigration. There is a counter/lane dedicated for the 144-hour visa-free transit at the immigration inspection. So just go there directly by following the signs.
