About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I'm travelling from Canada to Philippines, I'm holding Philippine passport,

but I'm a permanent resident of canada. I have a 5 hrs layover to Shanghai going to Philippines. Do i need a visa?

If you fly Canada-SHA-Philippines then you don't need a visa, you can have 24 hours direct transit.
