kunming to dali

I would like to visit the STONE FOREST and local Kunming city tour on Oct 16 and depart to Dali by flight the same day, is that possible?

The Stone Forest is a bit far from Kunming and the transfer takes around 1.5-2 hours for single way. Normally, it needs one full day to visit there. According to present flight schedule, the last flight from Kunming to Dali leaves at 17:00. Time is very rush to go this way. Therefore, I suggest you stay overnight in Kunming and fly to Dali the next day.
