Uk citizen booked on a tour from Kunming to Dali, to Lijiang then a bullet train out

Uk citizen booked on a tour from Kunming to Dali, to Lijiang then a bullet train out to Luang Prabang does the 240 hour visa cover this? or do i need to get a tourist visa?

Julia, you depart from UK to Kunming, right? If yes, your route is covered by the 240h visa free transit. Or the third country or region other than Mainland China and Laos will also be OK. That means your route should be The Third Country - Mainland China - Laos.
