seoul to nanjing then shanghai to tokyo

Question

The flight from Seoul to Nanjing arrives at 8 pm on June 30.  Can I take a flight leaving Shanghai at 1 am on July 7 under the 144-hr visa free?

Oliver, you can enter from Seoul to Nanjing and take a light to Tokyo from Shanghai. However, your departure time should be adjusted to be before 23:59 of July 6. Otherwise, it's beyond the 144-our limit.
