About:Chinese Embassy in Colombia

I have double citizenship: U.S. American and Colombian, can I apply as Colombian to Beijing Airport?

Hello, I have dual citizenship U.S. American and Colombian.
I am currently in Colombia and I am planing to go to a Kung Fu school for 1 month to Beijing. The Kung Fu school sent me an invitation letter.
I will depart from NYC.
Can I apply for the Chinese visa as Colombian in the Colombia embassy and fly from New York?

You can apply for it as Colombian from China embassy in Colombia, and then fly to China from New York.
