About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

travelling from australia

Hi we are travelling from Australia to beijing where we will be staying for less than 72 hours then we fly on to the US. We then come back to australia stopping just in the airport in beijing on the way home. Do we qualify for the 72 hour free visa? What do we have to do to get this?
Thanks

Yes. You just need to follow the sign once you reach immigration control, and they have a dedicated counter for this. You do need to have your flight itinerary and hotel reservation handy.
