About:China Train

Guilin to Hong Kong via Guangzhou. How about the border crossing?

Hello Travel China Guide!

If I want to go from Guilin to HK, I see I need two seperate tickets. One from Guilin to Guangzhou South, and one from Guangzhou East to HK. How about the border crossing? Does the ride cross the border, or do I need to transfer to a different ride?

The train depart for Hong Kong from Guangzhou East would direct cross the border to Hong Kong, you won't need to get off or change rides at any mid-way stations.

You will past through the Immigration Inspection in Guangzhou East station. The Hong Kong Immigration would located at the Hung Hom (Jiu Long) station in Hong Kong.
