Qualify for 144 hour visa?

I will take cruise from Tokyo to Shanghai, and stay less than 144 hours to visit Shanghai and Hongzhou. I am US citizen and will fly back from PVG to US. Do I qualify the 144 hours free visa?

Yes, you are qualified for the 144-hour free visa policy as long as you are holding passport of country from the list of qualified countries.
