About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24hr or 72hr visa

I am from one of Schengen Agreement Countries. I will have 13 hours layover in Beijing International Airport. I will arrive on 09 March at 11:45am. My connecting flight is at 10 March 01:05am. I want to leave airport and see the city during this layover, for which transit visa should I ask 24hr or 72hr in migrations?

You don't have to ask, and it's not a visa. Just present the details of your onward flight to Chinese immigration and they will give you 24 hours temporary entry permit in your passport.
