About:China Transit Visa

My sister is travelling from phils to vancouver via xiamen with a layover for 22 hrs.

do they a visa? If not, what if the flight is delayed which has resulted to staying in xiamen for more than 24 hrs, would that cause any problem?

Abby, they don't need the transit G type. By the way, what passports do they hold? If they hold Canadian passports, they do not need the G type as long as the transit time is within 72 hours. If so, it doesn't matter if the flight is delayed.
