Me and my partner both fire tigers and after 10 years I'm walking away feeling that I've wasted my time. Get out whilst you can as your only going to be miserable if you don't. What you are waiting for will not happen and you will feel betrayed and used. Its a constant competition for control. The male insists the female be the same as him and suffocates her even tho she knows she could rip his throat out at any moment.

indeed .. two tigers should never be under the same roof... my mother is a water tiger and I am a fore tiger. i could not understand what was wrong, i seemed to be always making her angry.. only after reading about the tigers personality did i understand where I am coming from more clearly and why my character is as is and how it was having impact my mothers. I simply left home at the age 18 .. have a successful carrer and i still see my loving parents daily. But one thing is that two tigers cannot be under the same roof - its miserable.... i sure need my freedom ,,,.... love yal

Hey Pam. I’m an Earth Tiger. Since you are a Fire Tiger, I’d like to explain further why you could not understand what was wrong in your relation with the element Water.
Fire element born spirits are natural leaders and can come off extremely brash and insensitive. Water element born spirits are usually the most sensitive out of all 5 elements and usually never forget. Water holds memory.

Theoretically, from a elemental standpoint from the dynamics from the Chinese version of the flow of energy between fire and earth, fire should feed earth. Also, wood feeds fire; the only things, theoretically, I see from the dynamics purely from a elemental flow is that the wood from both of you is piercing (negatively affecting) the earth element, and both of you have, from a purely theoretical binary polarity are yang... so, I suppose going for a yin sign for the both of you would be more feasible and honestly water elements such as a water sign like the pig (yin version) and a water year that has an element that is compatible either way like snake (yin) [so water snake if that's feasible?] would work or you can go for a neutral elemental like a yin wood like rabbit and vouch for a compatible elemental year like fire or water... but that's just speaking from theory...

Honestly, you should look at if either one of you are dominant to the other, or both dominant, and if either one of you are rapacious to another or are both rapacious to each other as well as finances, life goals, family goals, similar interests, ability to yield, ability to give space and understand, supportiveness, having similar bucket lists, have ways of handling stress that the other does not mind and/or does, have qualities that both want, have character that both wish for... don't sell yourself short... have options! Then dive!
