In-Town-Check-In: Procedure, if i want to check in in the morning and drive to the airport at night

We fly with Cathay Pacific 21:30 from Hong Kong. Morning we want in HK or Kowloon using the free in-town check-in services, the baggage and then until shortly before departure see still the city. On the website of the airport express I read that: Passengers must use an Octopus or an Airport Express ticket to enter the In-town Check-in area. The full fare will be deducted at the In-town Check-in entry gate, with no further charge being made at the platform entry gate). I solve a ticket so, go in the morning through access control, check in and if I'm going back then without Airport Express immediately to drive, in the city, I then get a ticket, with which I can drive to the airport at night or is considered a boarding ticket? What is the procedure if I want to check in in the morning and drop off the bags, but would like to drive to the airport in the evening?

I am a little bit confused about your question, but to enjoy the free in-town check-in service. You have to hold a Octopus Card or Airport Express Ticket as I know. As you quoted, the fee will be deducted when you handle the check-in service. Then it doesn't matter if you take the train or not. It is ok to drive to HKIA to catch your flight. That is to say: waste a 90 or 100HKD to enjoy the service if you persist in your plan.
