Entering China by train

Hi!
Me and my partner are entering China via train from Hong Kong to Guanzhou. The problem is we can't by tickets before 20days so we will not be able to buy them before the visa application. Are they gonna accept the Visa if we provide flight ticket to Hong Kong and a Hotel booked in Guanzhou plus flight out from China? Do we need to provide every single hotel booking for every single stop we will do? Or could we just provide the first hotel booking in Guanzhou?

Jennifer, I think they will accept the application if you provide flight ticket to HK and flight ticket to leave China.
You can just provide most part of your accommodation arrangement.
