About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am an Australian from Manila going to Hanoi transiting Shanghai for 2 days.Do I need a China visa?

Itinerary:
13FEB Manila-HKG
13FEB HKG-Shanghai (PVG)
15FEB PVG-Hanoi

No, you don't need the visa as you qualify for the 144hrs visa-free transit in Shanghai.
