About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

What if planes stopover different region?

What if the arriving or the departing flight goes with a plane change in a different region?
Like...
Day one: HAN - KMN - PVG (with a 3 hours plane change in KMN...
74 hours in PVG
Last day PVG- TYO

I understand that the Entry point in CHINA would be Yunnan and not SHANGHAI... would I not be eligible for the free 114 hours in Shanghai?

Antonio, I think you are not eligible because of the plane change in Kunming.
