Hello. I live in Hangzhou with a student X type. I'm getting married to my Chinese girlfriend and I want to know the detailed steps involved in converting my student X type into a marriage Q type. She's from Zhejiang, Lishui. Thanks

You should first prepare your passport, a completed application form, a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, an invitation letter from your wife and copy of her Chinese ID card, as well as your marriage certificate. Next, go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to convert the X type to Q type.
