About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Entering via Guangzhou leaving via Shenzhen

As far as I am aware the 72 hour transit free visa is eligible only entering via the airport in Guangzhou, but since you can visit the whole Guangdong province, would it be ok to exit China via Shenzhen into HK or Zhuhai into Macau?

Darren, as far as I know, Guangdong has already adopted the 144-hour free transit policy. If you meet the requirements, you can enter from Guangzhou Airport, and exit visa Shenzhen into HK or Zhuhai into Macau.
