2 h transfer time international to international flight at guangzhou airport - enough

Question

I will arrive in the city from London at 6 AM, and my connecting flight to Bangkok leaves at 8 AM. Is this enough time for the transfer? I take it my luggage is automatically transferred through? Do I have to go through security checks? I missed my connection in Beijing before due to the lengthy security queue so am a bit nervous. Many thanks for your advice.

You don't need to reclaim your luggage and go through immigration and security check. You just need to follow the signposts to take quarantine check and deal with transit procedure. It should not take too much time. No worry. :)
