2 h transfer time International to International flight at Guangzhou Airport - Enough time?

I will arrive in the city from London at 6 AM, and my connecting flight to Bangkok leaves at 8 AM. Is this enough time for the transfer? I take it my luggage is automatically transferred through? Do I have to go through security checks? I missed my connection in Beijing before due to the lengthy security queue so am a bit nervous.
