About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

my wife and me arrive by cruise ship in Tokyo.

On the date of arrival we take a plane , Eva air, to Hangzhou via Taipeh. We stay in Hangzhou hotel from 25 th april to 29 th . Leave in the afternoon. Are we eligible for 144 hour free transit? visa requirements Taipeh?

Ivo, if you will leave for a third country or region rather than Taipei after staying in Hangzhou, you will be able to enjoy the 144 hour free transit in Hangzhou.
You don’t need a visa for Taipei transit.
