I will look for a teaching job in Beijing, and once I have once, I will apply for a work visa.

What documents must I take to the PSB, how long does it take to get one, and what is the cost?

Ken, you need to bring your passport, a completed application form affixed with a passport-style photo, valid registration form of temporary residence, work permit and the invitation letter of a duly authorized unit (your employer will get these two documents for you). Next, submit the application to the PSB to apply for the work Z type. You may need to wait for 7 working days to get the result. It may cost CNY168. For a reference only.
