Elo, you can enjoy the visa-free transit in PEK, but if you want to get out of the airport, you may need to apply for a stay permit at the airport. You are advised to take airport shuttle bus Wangfujing line to the city center. You may stop by Wangfujng Commercial Street or take a taxi to the nearby Tiananmen Square, which is the landmark of BJ.
