About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

If going from Vancouver to HK through Beijing in same Airline, do I need to go through customs?

And re-check my bags? Thanks.

No, you don't need to reclaim the baggage. The transfer steps are Flight Arrival - Transfer Procedures - Stamped on the Boarding Pass - Security Check - Custom Inspection - Waiting & Boarding.
