about transit permit by ijas

Hi, I`m holder of Sri Lankan passport flying on Air China to Sri Lanka from Japan via China(Chengdu). My lay over time in Chengdu is about 4.50 hour. On my return way, I fly the same carrier via the same port but the lay over is 8.50 hours. In this case, will I need any transit visa/permit?

No, you don’t need it because you will be eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in China in both directions.
